New Website!

Been working on a much needed website refresh with my friend Samiha, and so excited that it's finally here. When I was first figuring out selling my work online years ago I made a quick shopify-theme site just to get things out there, and then all of a sudden it was years later and the same slapped-together basic site was still there collecting dust. 

 

Samiha suggested a mostly simple black and white palette so that the colors in my work would stand out more. We also incorporated more of my drawings into the site itself, which brought up the idea of having stone icons, similar to the stone textured pieces I've made as tattoos. As I was working on buttons for "jewelry / clothes / prints" I found they reminded me of those engraved stones you can find at souvenir and crystal shops, saying inspirational things like "hope, love, peace" etc. So I asked if we could add a couple extra stones- Love for pages of friend's work and Dream for more blog-format sharing.
